Story Makers Ste Adele

We had quite a surprise when we came in this morning! We seem to have lost our dragons. We must talk to our janitor real soon and see if he hid them somewhere…will keep you posted!

Other surprises we had - Vincent brought in his sword. A real stainless steel collector's item. It was beautiful, shiny and very heavy. Thanks Vincent for showing it to us. Paul brought in his own creation. A sword made from cardboard and ducktape.

Wiglaf and his friends Eric and Angus are having an interesting time at the D.S.A. The food though isn’t the best! We finished Chapter 6 and the boys are off to slay dragons. Will they succeed??

After our D.E.A.R. period, we separated into three groups, 1) Hoyann, 2) Vincent and 3) Audrey-Anne and Marilou. Each group took 7-8 kids each and we actually made catapults. Each group had a different model. Yes, real catapults. Our goal is not to destroy a castle but we made them and tomorrow morning we’ll have competitions to see which catapult throws farther.

The children did a great job getting theirs together!
