Wow - three weeks have flown by so quickly!!

Today we finished up with the final touches on our published pieces. We practiced reading them with clear and strong voices. Some of us need more practice since we wrote our stories in English but we don't read as fast as we would like in English because we're from French schools. Ours need to practice because our stories are great and they need dramatic effects.

We made scones and boy was it hot in that kitchen! Ms Frances will make more scones at home since it is too hot in the school. The scones were good! They'll be even better tomorrow with our homemade butter and our no-cook strawberry jam.

Tomorrow is our Author's Tea. We'll have our little presentation in two groups; the juniors and the seniors. Then we'll all go down into the gym for a Medieval Rap, a Choral Story and we'll present our djembes as well. Listen for Rumbali because we'll get you to sing it with us.
